The schools new House system started with a bang yesterday with the first ever House school sports day.

Organised with military precision by the PE department, a fantastic day was had by all while the sun beamed down on Ashtons Playing Fields.

The overall winning House were Brunel, who narrowly pipped Roddick House to the winners trophy by a mere 2 points. This was helped by a storming staff performance by Brunel in the relay with Mr D’Silva bringing home the baton in the final race of the day.

There were many stand out performances by the students and lots of school records broken. Although Brunel won overall, the year group rankings varied and can be seen below.
