Having spent the week learning about different cultures and celebrating their differences and similarities, the day's activities included an assembly for each year group led by the school's student Diversity Group where they spoke about the importance of tolerance and accepting those who have different beliefs or backgrounds.

Headteacher Daniel Leonard said: "Throughout the week, we have celebrated a range of cultures through lessons and our canteen offer. As one of the most diverse schools in Essex, it is so important that everyone within our community is able to share their heritage and show pride in all the things that make them special. I am so proud to be a headteacher in a school where students feel safe and able to wear cultural dress and discuss what their culture means to them."
