West Hatch High School is celebrating another round of excellent GCSE exam results.
Some 90 per cent of students achieved five or more A*-C grades and 69 per cent achieved this including English and Maths.
Top performers include Brittany Chan (6A*s and 4 As), Taylor Humphreys (6A*s and 4 As), Adedito Falase (6A*s and 2As), Freddie Dell (6A*s and 1A), Joshua Pope (5A*s and 4As), Anne-Marie Heed (5A*s and 3As) amd Matthew Wallace (5A*s and 2As).
Headteacher Frances Howarth and staff are delighted that so many students can now progress to the next stage in their careers having secured the grades they need.
For many this means continuing their education in the Sixth Form at West Hatch.
Mrs Howarth said: “We are so proud of what our students have achieved, especially those who found their studies hard.
“Congratulations must go to the students all and their teachers.”
These GCSE results follow last week’s excellent A-Level results which saw many of the West Hatch Sixth Form progressing to study at their first choice university.
