West Hatch High School will open its doors to potential Sixth Form students at an additional Open Evening on Wednesday November 7th, time to be confirmed.
The Sixth Form event - between 6.30pm and 8.30pm - will give students and parents a chance to see around the Chigwell school, speak to students and staff and find out more about what West Hatch High School Sixth Form has to offer.
Vicky Schaefer, Assistant Headteacher responsible for KS5, said: “At West Hatch we strive to deliver the best teaching and learning for our students to achieve their full potential.
“Our academic standards are high, our success is proved and our breadth of extra-curricular activities offer students a fantastic experience of post-16 study.”
This year the school recorded excellent A-level results with an overall pass rate of 99 per cent, and with 50 per cent of Year 13 students achieving A*, A and B grades.
Many West Hatch High School students achieve places at Russell Group universities or join the job market in competitive careers and industries.
Headteacher Daniel Leonard said: "Students in the sixth form have access to so many opportunities to develop and shine ensuring when they leave us they have the edge and can compete with the best.
“We welcome all prospective students to visit us on November 7th to find out more."
